Nyah~ A friend wanted to watch a movie yesterday so he dragged me and a few other friends to our local cinema. What I hate about movies nowadays is that most of them are 3D which can be a real strain for my eyes. It also makes the movie blurrier since 2 images are put together to produce the 3D effect. I’d rather watch the movie without the 3D effect to get the best quality, buuuuuutttt oh wellll. I blame James Cameron for making that darn Avatar movie. >.>
My friends and I lined up to buy the morning tickets. The morning tickets are cheaper compared to the tickets in the afternoon. Also, if you don’t have your own 3D glasses, you have to buy your own at the counter.
Bought the tickets! And yes, we’re watching the Green Lantern~ There hasn’t been a DC Superhero movie lately so we decided to give GL a try. I smell a lot of CG effects…
My friend wore his official Green Lantern shirt to the movie. It was kinda embarrassing to stand next to him, but he’s that kind of person. ^^; When we were buying the tickets, the guy at the counter was laughing at him. XD
My other friend wore his Superman shirt to match with my friend’s GL shirt. Aside from being DC, I don’t see any relation between the two. XD We apparently saw a lot of superhero shirts that day ROFL.
We bumped into Batman on the way up to the theater. He’s looking grumpy as usual~ It’s like we have the whole Justice League here already! XD

Superman was also there to show off his abs. It’s funny how superheroes actually look normal wearing underwear. On the other hand, if a Kamen Rider wore a pair of underpants on the outside, it would look really stupid~ XD
After seeing Revoltech’s Woody, I keep on seeing Woody as a pedophile….I’ll never look at him the same again…You can search it up on Google images. It’s pretty creepy so it could be considered as NSFW
As usual, one of my friends who lives the closest to the cinema is always the last one to arrive. We gave up on him and went inside to the theater first. >.>
After the film, we headed to the mall’s food court to look for something to eat. We were really tired and dizzy due to the 3D effect so we really needed to sit down for a while.
Lining up in a really long line with a friend. It was lunch time so it was pretty crowded. ><
My Lunch for that day. This dish here is quite interesting. They give you rice and raw beef and this really hot plate. You basically have to cook the beef yourself by mixing it with the rice on the plate.
After lunch, we headed to my friend’s place to fool around. Here, I’m playing with his new white ipad2. It looks gorgeous with the white iphone 4! XD After playing with it for a while, I realized there’s no big difference with the ipad 1 and the ipad 2. Better to wait for the ipad 3 instead. I would love to see the retina display on the pad.
After buying the ipad 2, my friend bought a white PS3 slim!!! *dies* We used this opportunity to play a few multi-player games. Here we’re playing Mortal Combat VS DC universe. I can’t imagine Joker fighting face to face with somebody. ^^”
We kept playing until our fingers were tired. =.=” I find it really hard to press so many buttons just for one attack. I’m too use to super smash brothers on the wii so I could hardly beat anybody in this game. orz
After that, we switched games to play a Naruto fighting game. Apparently, my friend played this game before so he defeated us pretty quickly. =.=
Our hands were almost broken so we switched to playing cards. Luckily, no betting was involved so my wallet was safe. XD
Headed home at around 6ish to relax a bit before heading to my grandma’s place for dinner. Seriously, the summer heat can do a lot to a person. =.=
At 10, I was waiting for GACKT’s live show to start on niconico douga. It’s kinda hard not to get kicked out because almost 100,000 people were watching. o.0
I’m probably going to die this summer. The heat is just unbearable these days. >.<” I heard that Japan just started having their summer a few days ago.
Still waiting….Thankfully, they played GACKT’s new song, Episode.0, while we were waiting. A nice picture of him was also shown while the song was playing. *yay~*
Preparing a bottle of water for the show. I don’t want to go back to the kitchen every time just for water so might as well prepare a bottle.
I thought of turning on the air conditioner, but the temperature was tolerable that night. I guess saving energy is the way to go?~
GACKT was looking cool and fancy as usual on his niconico couch lol. I was multitasking on twitter becauseI was posting short translations of what he was saying. The main purpose for this live show was to give a chance to viewers to call GACKT and tell him a funny story to make him laugh. Not just him, but to make everyone watching laugh since the March 11th earthquake caused a lot of people in Japan to smile less. He also gave goodies to everybody who called. :3

I was really tired after waking up today (Sunday) due to all the excitement from last night. ^^” Still, I had to go out to eat breakfast with my family. It was really early in the morning so I was like ugghhhhhh the whole time. =.= And looking for
parking spaces suck!

Also ate your average HK styled breakfast NEAR a Garbage disposal place. =.= I was surprised that my family had no problems with that.
After breakfast, my family and I looked for suitcases for my trip to Japan and the U.S. I’ll be moving back to the U.S permanently so I’ll need to bring a lot of my own stuff back. I even had to buy the tickets for business and first class instead of the usual economy so that I can take more stuff. *dies*
Gawd…suitcases are expensive, but I have to say that some of these are pretty sexy. :P I actually considered to get a pink one so that I can easily recognize it during my trip. ^^”
After that, we went to look for smart phones since my aunt was sick of using the iphone. (lol already?) She’s considering using a Samsung Galaxy S2 like my friend cause it’s a lot more powerful than the current iphone 4. She can also watch local tv shows on it so I told her to go for it. At the moment, she’s now looking at the data plans. I really hate those 2 year data plans because technology moves FAST. The iphone 10 will already be out at that time. XD
We ended the day short by going back home after buying my suitcases. We actually had to wait until the end of the month since they ran out of stock. Seriously, do that many people buy suitcases in HK?

Friends and I BBCS2 the entire time so I didn't watch it... but probably would miss it since I was without internets connection for like 10hrs straight due to our club anime show followed by card game with friends.
You and your friends should go pick up a game that you all have never played and play it... like Marvel Vs Capcom 3. This will balance any issues with someone who's played too much. Though not applicable with your HK friends this often as you are leaving them T_T Do it with your batch of new friends in Cali ^_^
For some strange reason, 3D doesn't affect me... maybe it's due my eyes being able to adjust without problems. Try not to move too much? Too much excessive moving during the 3D movie can be affecting your ability for your eyes to follow the 3D and causing problems.
Its nice to go out with friends to the cinema, ill be going to watch hangover 2 this wednesday..so late haha but green lantern is in my watch list, hasnt come out yet here down under.

I don't move my head a lot when watching films so moving is not really a problem. Another annoying thing is that I have to put the 3D glasses over my own glasses.
I'm not going to wear contacts just for a 3D movie. =.="

The reason I prefer earbuds is because my little brother is extremely nosy. If he hears any form of noise from the CPU he'll try to stick his nose into my business and bombard me with a deadly wave of questions. XD And the pink suitcase is perfect~!
