Like what the title states, I basically have one month left. Not to survive, but one month left here in the city of Hong Kong. One thing that worries me is that I actually don’t feel like I’m going to leave. Not in the sense of not wanting to, but it feels like leaving is not going to be an option. Yeah, I bought my plane tickets on the internet already, but something just doesn’t feel right. My instincts are usually correct (Well, 90% of the time, but it’s pretty high isn’t it?) which is why I’ve been so fidgety for the past few days. By the way, if any of you were paying attention, I said plane tickets. The reason for that very “s” is because I managed to convince my family to buy me a ticket to ….dun..dun…dun…Japan! It’s along the way so I figured why not stop for a while to see my kazoku~ The bad news is that I’m only staying for a week and a half since I have my own matters to deal with in the U.S. Still, it’s like sipping a bowl of liquid gold, except that would surely kill me and it probably wouldn’t taste good either XD (Ignore me lol). I’m also going there because one of my family members is facing a very unfortunate sickness so I’m going there to visit that person before you know..
Life in Hong Kong at the moment is not so good sadly. Facing a lot of BS at the moment from the family which caused me to lose my temper which I rarely do. Actually, one of those events happened today. :D Unlike other people, I lose my temper in a calm matter actually. I find it scary myself because I do it in a way that will make me seem normal, but at the same time, somewhat insane. I don’t hurt anybody, but that’s only because I tend to distance myself away from others immediately when I actually do lose it. Not going to describe it cause I find it somewhat scary myself. That is why I try my best to stay calm and positive ne~
I apologize for skipping a week of blogging, but I had to study for my exams for this and last week. I still have exams next week, but it’s nothing too difficult so I’m pretty confident. Last week was just blah and ~yay~ for me. Blah because I had no idea what I was doing for Chemistry due to my lack of skills in calculating and ~yay~ because I actually knew how to most of the questions in my Biology exam. In conclusion, I died in the arts of Chemicals and probably just got a simple pass in the wonders of nature. ORZ ORZ ORZ I often ask myself “Do I consider myself smart?”. The answer would be yes and no. No not academically, but yes in a way that can help me get through life the way I want to. Do you consider yourself smart?
Yeah, I know right? Not this sh*t again!!
Anyways, we better get back to the daily logu before I blabber on about something else. My friend just came back from Korea so we decided to hang out for the day. What I appreciate about him is that he’s able to chase after his passion and I guess accomplish one of his dreams in life. I may be wrong, but he has always wanted to study in Korea and learn the language. When I’m looking at him now, he’s already doing that which I find really beautiful in a way. He’s also not wasting his time by doing what he wants to do at such a young age. I don’t have the opportunity to do that now, but I know I will soon. More importantly, I want to create that opportunity myself which would be a big accomplishment in my life.
We ate at Yoshinoya to grab ourselves a beef bowl. I think I said this before, but Yoshinoya has gone down hill lately. Could not finish the rice because it wasn’t really that good…
My friend showed me his Samsung Galaxy S2. It’s a lot more powerful than my simple iphone 4 due to its hardware and operating system. Unlike the iphone, you’re allowed to customize a lot of things in the OS and the hardware is just BEAST. I’m sure the next generation iphone will have its own upgraded hardware, but the OS still needs a lot of work.
I also checked out his 4th gen ipod touch. Love the cover!

Oh the monnies needed for technology~
He also got my these bead bracelets. I wanted these because of a certain Samurai J-rockers named GACKT! I want to buy his ‘official ones” online, but they’re too expensive and I also don’t have a credit card. Still looking for one that has blue, black and colorless beads which is like the one he wears. Ya, I’m such a fanboy XD~ kyaaaaa
In case you haven’t noticed, I’m still using my iphone 4 to take pictures. Yeah yeah, I’m lazy but I’ll switch back to the GF1 during my trip to Japan and the states.
Didn’t take a lot of pictures, but if you really wanted to know, we basically went shopping for clothes and electronics. To be more specific, my friend was looking for an ipad2, but we failed because all the shops were out of stock. I knew the iphone 4 was extremely popular, but I didn’t know the ipad2 was popular as well.
My loot for today. I usually wear neutral colors so I decided to pick out a red checkered polo because it reminded me of one of the polos GACKT wore at one of his concerts. (More fanboyizm~). I also bought more clothes than usual because buying clothes with good style and the right size is extremely hard in my opinion. I’m definitely up for suggestions for any clothes shops in the U.S. I’m also Japanese so we tend to be realllllllyyyyyy skinnneeeehhh~ XD
Fanboyism in action. Gawd I love this song.

Bought a new case for my iphone because my white one was turning black which reminded me of poo!

As usual, I picked a simple case to show the white iphone 4′s sexiness~ It’s basically transparent rubber.

It was really hard to press the buttons on my old case. This case has its own buttons that help push the buttons of the iphone 4 which makes things a lot easier.

Staring at my new bracelets~ love them!
Lastly, I decided to pre-order the CD version of Episode.0. This is the 2nd time doing this and I shall express my frustration by telling you why. GACKT’s new single, Episode.0, is coming out on July 13. Like the loyal GACKT fanboy I am, I decided to pre-order it. Like any other Japanese artist, they somehow need to sell both a CD version and a CD+DVD version. Yes, it’s a very good business strategy and I would do the same too if I were somehow a Japanese J rocker. Keep in mind that the cover for both of these versions have not been shown yet so I had no idea what the covers looked like. I just knew that one of them had a DVD with the CD. The DVD sounded really appealing so I decided to just buy the CD+DVD version assuming that it would satisfy my fanboy needs, but noooooooooo. Apparently, a few weeks later, GACKT showed the covers for these 2 versions on the official website. The cover for the CD+DVD version was just ugh in my opinion (no offense to anybody, especially GACKT XD), but the CD only version was just beautiful!!!! That is why I had to spend more money to pre-order that version as well. I have been defeated by GACKT and whoever is handling his CDs. End of story~
CD+DVD version on the left which is the one I ordered first. The single Episode.0 is basically a collaboration with GACKT and the vocaloid program Kamui Gakupo which is basically a program that’s supposed to represent GACKT. The song was actually written by some random dude on niconico. GACKT eventually made a contest two years ago to choose the best songs that used the vocaloid program Kamui Gakupo and decided that he was going to make a single out of it. If you’re wondering why 2 years, he said it was due to a lot of restrictions regarding the copyrights of the song. Doesn’t the normal CD version look awesome???
The PV for Episode.0. Trust me, you need to watch this. His vocal range is amazing. The lyrics to this song is beautiful too. Watch it in HD too~

Do you think I’ll get beaten up if I wear this in the states? XD~
Nya~

This is awesome! Don't kill me but I never really listened to GACKT really (although I did plan to) so it's great you posted this. I'll be sure to listen to more of his music. :D It's great to see a real fanboy! XD I look forward to seeing some blogging from you during your Japan trip.
:)
Ganbatte, Asuka-kun~! v(^-^)v
The land of the rising sun... in your grasp. Sadly it opens next month. Better make use of the last month of not being in Japan as useful as possible. Though you probably should have saved purchasing all those Gackt stuff in Japan seeing as it'll be cheaper and you might bump into him and grab an autograph~
Probably because you're shifting the family matters from one location to another, you don't feel like it's being resolved at all. You're also fearing the same problem in the new home as well. It's best to have a plan, stick to it and then bring it up when necessary. Spend the rest of the time doing what you want to do (unless if solving family problems is part of what you'd like to do).
We should go drinking sometime, it'll help with your memory (or removing what you don't want to keep remembering). Though you're underage so we'll have to wait when you're in Cali~
Heh, getting that man to answer to your tweets on twitter might be as difficult as getting his autograph XD. He's not the guy to
sign stuff so I would be happy enough to just seem him with my own eyes. :3
Well, the problem is that I have trouble drinking stuff like coffee, wine and beer. Tried all of them in the past before and did not enjoy the taste.
Are you okay with drinking coke at a nearby vending machine? XD
lol don't worry. I only started to listening to GACKT in 2010, but it only takes about a few weeks to listen to his music and watch his concerts. And yes, please
look forward to my posts of my Japan trip! Also have a look at the posts that I made on my last trip to Japan! :)
Thx~ :3
Wait until I get myself a video operating device usable in the outside world and we'll get a coke together~
I don't enjoy any of the three drinks either, but it's there for the effect. Try sensing their after taste. Each wine/beer has a different one. They're not all meant to be super happy great drink, just there to ease your mind. It's like doing drugs, you're there for the effect of it, not actually acknowledging the fact it's killing you. Though little is fine when necessary, but not all the time.
Aww maaaann you've got Yoshigyuu where you live!!???
I could kill someone for that ...............dribble
Ahh well, hope you have fun in Ja.......no I know you will have fun in Japan.
There's no need to hope :)
Yup, we got plenty of those here :P Sadly, I kinda got sick of it after eating too much of it. T.T I think I'll
go on a Yoshiqyuu diet for a while ^^".
Thanks~ Haha, you're right. There is no need to hope. XD ~ Japan will always be fun :)
Okay, Asuka-kun! I will try to do that. Ja ne~! :D
OH! I forgot! I'm not sure when you'll be able to do cosplay again, but I remember your awesome Izaya cosplay and I'd LOVE to see a Kuroshitsuji cosplay from you! ;)
Lol, I'm not sure either, but I'll have to see when I move back to the states. ^^" Kuroshitsuji? I saw a lot of cosplays of that in the past. Is the manga good? :3
Oh absolutely! It's one of my very favorite manga! :D In my opinion, the anime version isn't as good, but still pretty spectacular. You MUST read it.
Gackt looks cool in that samurai getup. Anyway, I also wear black bead bracelet for almost 2 years now... it just looks better than silver bracelets anyway.
@Samejima
Yeah, he's know as the "Modern" samurai. He's so modern that he's uses his mobile phone and wears sunglasses during his samurai photoshoots! XD
