School as usual was tiring and boring; sleeping for only about 5 hours every weekday isn’t the best for my health. I rarely fall asleep in class, but it’s still extremely difficult to stay awake in lessons that involve a lot of sitting and listening. Recently, my friend and I were talking about why we feel so sleepy on weekdays, but not on the weekends. We don’t really believe the “You don’t sleep enough” theory because we tried sleeping at 10 or 11 at night and we still felt really crappy and sleep in the morning. Finally, we came to the conclusion that waking up early for school is what makes us really tired. We also said that sleeping at a late time like midnight or at 1 a.m wouldn’t be a problem because we would feel the same as a person who slept at 11 p.m or earlier. I do agree that sleeping at a extremely late time like 2 or 3 a.m could completely destroy your condition for the next day, but I’m still sticking to my “Waking up too early” theory. Anyways, that’s enough talk about sleeping. Let’s get started with the blog.
Exams are coming in 2 weeks; as usual, I’m totally unprepared for them so I’m pretty stressed out. I only have 4 subjects which are Chem, Bio, Engrishu and Computer Applications, but subjects like Chem and Bio have like 3 books to study orz. I’m not sure about the formats of the tests in America or other countries, but the tests here in Hong Kong require you to remember the answers from past tests which is a really lame way to do a test. Understanding and reading the books can almost be completely useless, but you still need to read them to gain the general concept. At the same time, that knowledge isn’t really needed as there are specific answers that you need to write down. These answers are found in past exams which you have to find yourself on the internet or ask a very kind teacher for. I, myself, am not good at remembering a lot of text so I plan on getting the general idea of the answers from the past exams. This time, I am not going to read the 3 books as it wastes too much time and effort. I don’t really have anything to lose since I’ll be heading off to the states soon so I guess I’m pretty calm about this whole situation.
If you haven’t noticed from the title, every picture in this post has been taken by my iphone 4. It’s actually more convenient to take pictures like this and I can also take pictures in places where I can’t usually take pictures at. So expect to see more pictures taken by the iphone.
Wow, this picture came is just blah. I actually used a spy cam app which is this camera app that allows you to take pictures with your screen completely black. I find this really useful since I really hate when people stare at me whenever I’m trying to take a picture. The downside is that the photos usually come out really blurry cause you can’t see what’s going on. I could actually adjust the transparency of the black screen, but I’m still experimenting.

Having a western styled breakfast which is quite rare for me. I don’t really like eating Chinese food for some strange reason so I tend to avoid eating at “Yam Cha” for breakfast. ^^”

Using the spy cam app again. It’s still a bit blurry. I blame the restaurant’s poor lighting. :P

Driving around Yuen Long which is located in the New territories in Hong Kong.

Yuen Long is pretty crowded, but not as crowded as famous places like Central and Tsim Sha Tsui. You also rarely see any gaijins here.

These outdoor markets that sell fruits and vegetables are a common sight here in Hong Kong. Actually, these are the little things that make up Hong Kong.

I could barely breathe today because I was suffering from a cold and the temperature today was around 32°C. I also tend to get really itchy when I’m facing hot temperatures so the Summer is basically my time to turn into a hikikomori ( ´Д`).

Another common sight here in Hong Kong is the neon signs. Yeah, they really do look like they’re about to fall down, especially during the typhoon season. o.0

Visiting gramps in the hospital. Don’t worry, he’s fine. He’s just staying for a day. He has breathing problems so he usually brings an inhaler with him.
Still getting disagreements with my plan to go back to the states to study. Getting more from my grandparents. It’s hard to argue with them cause my Cantonese is just blah which is why I always lose in these arguments. Just wish they knew that they’re not the only family on this planet who wants to see me…Still got family in the states and Japan to look after right???

To avoid ending this post on a sad note, I would like to show you a picture of my BRS figma which taken and edited on my iphone. I would also like to ask if any of you had any good wallpapers for a white iphone. Been struggling to look for a good one, but all of them look pretty bad with white. The wallpaper needs to be in high resolution too cause I would like to abuse the phone’s very awesome retina display. XD Thx~
Gosh next week is going to be another busy week. >.<

That is not how you make a SHAFT pose of BRS... not living up to the standards of Homura-chan~
I just got back from Anime North 2011 and will be writing tons of posts on it... though it's more mediocre than I had expected... in a good way that I'm learning the momentum of conventions and the pace of attending them.
I woke up at 6:30AM for the past while to get to work early to be able to leave early for the convention. Not a good habit because it really tires me out easily... >_<
Glad you could go to Anime North! :3 It has been a while since your last convention, no? I never attended conventions 2 or more days in a row so
I guess it's not that tiring for me, but it's still tiring to walk around and carry stuff for the whole day! XD
Hehe, waking up at 6:30 in the morning shows your devotion!
Sadly, I only bought one item at Anime North... a PSP Hatsune Miku Project Diva 2 case for $5. It was at their flea market too. Rare grab but then spent the remainder of the days just looking at horribly expensive stuff again and again... cosplayers are better but some still need work~
hehe I somewhat like going to the flea markets at conventions, but the authenticity of their goods are not too reliable ^^" And yeah...the cosplayers still need some improvement.
